Cameron Wilson

Cameron is an Associate with WATSON’s Director and Executive Search Practice. Having previously worked at a global executive recruitment firm, he brings a breadth of experience spanning multiple sectors and industries. He understands the range of distinct skills and intangible attributes required by today’s organizations and is committed to a first-rate experience by clients and candidates alike.

Prior to joining WATSON, Cameron served as an Advisor in the Office of the Prime Minister of Canada, managing key government appointments, including executive and board of director roles for Crown corporations, federal agencies. Core to his mandate was the development of recruitment strategies and the implementation of a new transparent, merit-based selection process which enabled more inclusive representation among appointees to better reflect Canada’s diversity. Cameron recognizes that organizations perform better when decision makers reflect their broader communities; and this is a lens that he brings to every search to better support his clients.

Cameron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia as well as a graduate degree from the Clayton H. Riddell Masters of Political Management program at Carleton University.
