Claudia Ferris provides solutions and services for WATSON’s Advisory and Corporate Secretarial clients. She is a corporate services professional with over 15 years of experience in governance, corporate secretarial and regulatory compliance matters for multinational, publicly listed and private companies. Claudia’s strong project management and change management skills prove invaluable in her support of clients as they shift their governance practices.
Prior to joining WATSON, Claudia was Compliance Officer for KGHM International where she was responsible for the development and implementation of a compliance program for North America and where she previously also held the roles of Corporate Secretary and Project Services Manager. Before KGHM Claudia led the implementation of a contract management system for Impark and managed the securities and corporate compliance programs for Placer Dome Inc.
Claudia was born and raised in Lima, Peru where she attended Universidad de Lima and is fluent in Spanish. She has completed an Executive Education certification program in Professional Project Management at UBC Sauder School of Business. Claudia is a member of the Governance Professionals of Canada and the BLG Mentorship Circle. Claudia’s not so secret passion is travel and has been to all seven continents.
