Recent news of the North Okanagan-Shuswap school board replaced by a single official trustee has engaged a new discussion on the need for good governance on Canada’s school boards.
Times Colonist, Geoff Johnson, weighed in on WATSON’s involvement as special advisor to the School Board Review, stating the recommendations provided by Liz Watson are something to make school boards across the province sit up and take notice. Johnson went on to highlight that “the report should be mandatory reading for all school trustees.”
