WATSON Joins the Minerva BC Panel

Rachel Colabella will be a featured panellist at Minerva BC Women Leading the Way on January 17, 2020, in Vancouver, BC.

Women Leading the Way is a 10-month leadership development program for established and emerging leaders at mid-management levels from all sectors (corporations, government, small businesses, and Not for Profits) with the focus towards transforming the careers of hundreds of women with its unique approach incorporating interactive and in-person training and a final leadership project.

Moderated by Lisa Leblanc, Manager of Transportation, City of New Westminster, Rachel Colabella, Senior Governance Consultant at WATSON will be on the panel with industry experts Amy Robichaud, Executive Director, Dress for Success, and Jillian Stirk, Former Ambassador & Assistant Deputy Minister at Global Affairs Canada. The panel will be sharing their personal expertise through their years of proficiency in Governance. The goal of the session is for participants to understand what good governance means by examining different models of governance in a variety of different sectors. Ultimately the panel will be sharing their insights and tips with the goal of helping individuals consider what it takes to be in a governance capacity and the responsibilities of being on a board.
