Most registrants pay by cheque.

If you are part of a customized course for your board, we typically invoice your organization.

You bet.  Contact us to get a registration code before you register, you may be eligible for a group discount.

Once you have a code, go right ahead and use the registration form. You can register multiple participants from your organization.

Everything you need, from course materials and meals during the session, including breakfast, lunch and snacks.

If you’re attending a course that starts with an Evening of Governance, you’ll also join us for dinner.

Airfare, hotel, parking and other travel costs. We’ll have to let you cover those.

We always customize the course based on who is in the room.  That’s why we ask you to complete a pre-course survey.  In some cases, we may send you some pre-reading after you have registered.

If you need to cancel, call us.

Even the best laid plans need to change sometimes. We get it. We’ll figure out a way to get you at the next session, or if you would prefer, transfer your registration to someone else.

If you need to cancel and let us know 30 days prior to the course, you either can receive a 100% refund, transfer into another course at a later date or transfer your registration to someone else.

Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the course start date are subject to a $250 administration fee.  Cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the course will be charged 50% of the course fee.

You may be eligible for Continuing Education Credits. Contact us to find out.

After you register, we’ll:

  1. Ask you to complete our ‘Get to Know You’ survey, so we can customize course content to you, your board experience, and your current board’s practices, priorities, and potential issues.
  2. Send you additional information, including logistics and travel information and any course preparation materials we’ll ask you to read in advance.

If you’re attending a customized session designed for your board, we may also be reaching out to you to set up a one-on-one interview (we’ll get in touch with select members).
